Energocom company of Moldova, Kuchurgan power station coordinate schedule of supply of electric energy for July 2023

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Energocom Company and the Kuchurgan power station (MGRES) from the Transnistrian region have coordinated the schedule of supply of electric energy for next July, based on the present contract, which is valid till September 2023. The purchasing price stays unchanged.

According to Energocom, the quality of electric energy which is to be bought from MGRES covers 98 per cent of the consumption needs on the right bank of Dniester, which amounts to about 314,000 MW/hour. The rest of the necessary amount of power is to be procured from OPCOM.

In late last March, Energocom signed a new half-a-year contract on the acquisition of electric energy from the Kuchurgan power station from the Transnistrian region. The price is of 66 dollars/MW/hour.

Energocom planned to buy about 303,000 MW/hour of electricity from MGRES for June.
