Moldovan parliament speaker says leadership to take all measures needed for such incidents to never take place

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - We will take all measures needed, so that such incidents never take place. Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu has made statements to this effect, following the tragic incident which occurred at the Chisinau International Airport today, in the wake of which two persons died.
„A serious security incident took place at the Chisinau International Airport today afternoon, which resulted in a tragedy: two persons on duty, a border policeman and a security agent, died and a passenger was wounded. The attacker, a citizen of Tajikistan, who was banned from entering Moldova, was detained following the intervention of the Fulger special police brigade,’’ Igor Grosu wrote on a social network.
The speaker gave assurances that the power wielding structures continued to act, in order to ensure peace and security in Moldova, ‘’We will take all measures necessary for such incidents to never take place. I convey condolences to the families of the victims of this barbarian attack,’’ Igor Grosu said.
Two persons – a border policeman and an airport security employee, today were shot dead by a foreign citizen, who had been banned from entering the country. Another person, passenger, is wounded and is cared by physicians.
Law-enforcers annihilated the aggressor. He was wounded and receives medical care. The man who made the shots is a citizen of Tajikistan aged 43.
The commercial work and the regime of flights continue to be interrupted at present.
