Chisinau International Airport to work in special regime

Chisinau, 30 June /MOLDPRES/ - The Chisinau International Airport will work in a special regime till the finishing of the procedural measures carried out by the law-enforcement bodies.

According to the institution, the departures will be made through the hall for departures of the Airport and the arrivals will be carried out through the hall of the official delegations and the express hall.

At the same time, the Civil Aviation Authority (AAC) has earlier informed that, today evening, the flights scheduled were delayed in the wake of the tragedy which took place at the Airport.

AAC urged the passengers to consult the online table, https://airport.md/?checkin-warn, before setting out to the Airport.

Two persons – a border policeman and an airport security employee, today were shot dead by a foreign citizen, who had been banned from entering the country. Another person, passenger, is wounded and is cared by physicians.

Policemen annihilated the aggressor. He was wounded and receives medical care. The man who made the shots is a citizen of Tajikistan aged 43.
