New details on security incident from Airport: Prosecutor's Office from Tajikistan unveils information about attacker

Chisinau, 1 July /MOLDPRES/ - The Prosecutor’s Office from Tajikistan today informed that the man who had shot at the Chisinau International Airport would member of an organized crime ring and that he had been wanted in his native country.
According to a press release of the Prosecutor’s Office from Tajikistan, the crime ring whose member the man would be, would have been involved in a case of kidnapping of the deputy president of a bank from Tajikistan. ‘’Following the committing of the offence, the man fled to Moldova via Turkey, in order to hide in continuation in the European Union’s countries. When crossing the state border of Moldova and in an attempt to detain him, he took away a pistol from one of the law-enforcers of the Chisinau Airport and shot two persons,’’ the quoted source noted.
On 30 June evening at the Chisinau International Airport, two persons – a border policeman and an airport security employee, were shot dead by a foreign citizen, who had been banned from entering the country. Another person, passenger, was wounded and is cared by physicians. Policemen annihilated the aggressor. He was wounded and receives medical care.
