APA to carry out information campaign on opportunities to develop social entrepreneurship

Chisinau, July 3. /MOLDPRES/- The Association for Promoting Entrepreneurship (APA) will carry out in different regions of the country a broad information campaign on the opportunities for the development of social entrepreneurship.

The actions will be implemented after APA obtained the Social entrepreneurship - strong point in the sustainable development of communities grant. The grant was obtained through the East European Foundation, under the project Harnessing civil society's potential to promote and develop social entrepreneurship, financed by the European Union and co-financed by Sweden.

The project aims to contribute to raising the level of community inclusion of groups of disadvantaged people, through the creation and development of social enterprises and the expansion of the spectrum of services offered by them.

The information campaign will promote the idea and concept of social enterprises, the possibility of involving disadvantaged people and the advantages of such an activity. At the same time, different promotion methods will be used, including study visits, which will contribute to creating a clear vision on the activity of a social enterprise.
