Moldovan president visited Vadul lui Isac, Manta localities

Chisinau, July 9. /MOLDPRES/- The past few days, President Maia Sandu went to the localities of Vadul lui Isac and Manta, in the Prut meadow, in the Cahul district, the presidential press service has reported.

"The people of this area are welcoming and traditions are part of everyday life. Both localities, led by women, carry out numerous projects, from local and external sources, aimed at increasing the standard of living in the communities".

The head of state said that there are recreational areas for children and adults in Vadul lui Isac and Dacic Park is being developed. 

Maia Sandu said that in Manta, young people and villagers from the diaspora contributed to the setting up of two parks and waiting stations. She also said that the locality managed to solve essential problems: an aqueduct and street lighting system were built, the kindergartens were capitally repaired, which will soon also have solar panels. "The people of this area are loyal supporters of the country's accession to the EU, and such achievements bring the country ever closer to European living standards," concluded the head of state.
