Chisinau, July 10. /MOLDPRES/- By late 2024, 75 percent of public services will be digitized. Currently, this rate is 40 percent. Prime Minister Dorin Recean made the statement today. He presented a report on the government's recent actions.
According to the Prime Minister, in recent years, our country has faced several crises, including the pandemic, the energy crisis and the impact of the war in the neighboring state. "Last winter, in the midst of the crisis, the government earmarked over 4 billion lei (200 million euros) to be able to cover more than half of everyone's bill. 900 thousand citizens benefited from these subsidies. The government doubled the minimum pension, increased the salaries of budget workers by about 6 percent and of medical employees by over 10 percent," said Recean.
The official said that the social dimension will continue to be in the government's attention and the authorities will ensure that the assistance goes where it is needed, without admitting a waste of public money.
"The government has tripled the minimum wage in the economy. From April 1, 2023, as from April 1, 2022, the government has indexed pensions by over 15 percent, this means that the pension for the age limit is 2,600 lei or 340 lei more than in 2022. Monthly allowances of one thousand lei were offered to families with children up to two years old", Recean said.
