Chisinau, July 12. /MOLDPRES/- Government today approved the decisions that provide for the denunciation of three Agreements concluded within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) in 1994-1997. The documents concern the educational, economic field and the activity of border guards.
Thus, the projects approved by the Government provide for the termination of the Agreement on support and development of small entrepreneurship in the member states of the CIS, signed in January 1997, the Collaboration Agreement for formation of a single educational space within the CIS, signed in Moscow in January 1997 and the Agreement on the privileged supply to the Border Guard Troops of the Member States of the Community of special equipment and other material means necessary for the Border Guard Troops, concluded in Moscow in September 1994.
The executive justified its decision that the documents are no longer functional. "It no longer makes sense to be part of such agreements that are not respected," said Prime Minister Dorin Recean.
Last week, the parliament voted in the first reading denouncing the Convention on Interparliamentary Assembly of CIS member states.
