Moldovan government to receive over two hundred Microsoft Office licenses from USA

Chisinau, July 14. /MOLDPRES/- Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC) will get over two hundred Microsoft Office licenses from the US Embassy in Moldova. U.S. Ambassador to Moldova Kent D. Logsdon made the statement at a meeting with institution's director Alexandru Corețchi.
"We are announcing the delivery of over 200 Microsoft Office licenses, in addition to our donation of cyber equipment to the Moldovan Government. The United States of America is proud to collaborate with the Republic of Moldova in the cyber security, a key national security priority," said Kent D. Logsdon.
The ambassador expressed his willingness to continue to provide the necessary and important assistance to our country, noting that the goal is to provide security to citizens by investing in diversifying mechanisms and increasing the level of protection of key information systems and the entire government cyberspace.
The Republic of Moldova benefits from the assistance of the American people in order to strengthen the security of critical infrastructure, within the Regional Program for Digitization and Resilience of Critical Infrastructure, launched last year by the USAID.
