Moldovan PM called for quick action to deal with consequences of last night's bad weather

Chisinau, July 26. /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean requested today at the cabinet meeting quick actions to liquidate the consequences of last night's bad weather.
"I ask the Ministry of the Interior to speed up the work of the local Emergency Situations Commissions. More than 200 rescuers are already working in the territory. Please see to it that this effort is accomplished as quickly as possible. I ask you to work in such a way as to reconnect the houses and institutions to electricity", Dorin Recean said.
A strong storm was recorded last night in the north and center of the country, and as a result, several localities were cut off power. Some routes were blocked after numerous trees were blown down by the wind. Several teams of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations are trained in liquidating the consequences of bad weather.
