DOC Law on denunciation of Convention on CIS Interparliamentary Assembly entered into force

Chisinau, July 26. /MOLDPRES/- The law on denouncing the Convention on Interparliamentary Assembly of the member countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) entered into force today, upon publication in the Official Journal.
Today, the Official Journal also published the presidential decree on promulgation of the law.
Under the document, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration will notify the CIS Executive Committee on the Convention's denunciation.
Chisinau Parliament approved the document on July 20.
The Convention on the CIS Interparliamentary Assembly was concluded in Minsk in May 1995.
