New Emergency Medical Assistance Point inaugurated in central Moldova settlement

Chisinau, 26 July /MOLDPRES/ - A new Emergency Medical Assistance Point (PAMU) has been inaugurated in the Gura Bacului settlement, central Anenii Noi district. Only two such points, in Mereni and Speia settlements, have been in this district so far; they served calls received from citizens of the region.    

The repaired building was endowed with new furniture. Those 13 employees will work in a new building, which is connected to heating, power supply, aqueduct and sewerage.   

At the same time, PAMU Gura Bacului has: alert room, warehouse for preserving medicines, rest room for staff, dining room and sanitary units. Also, a canopy for the standing of the ambulance was set.   

The cost of the works of the rooms’ capital repair, including for the connection to the networks of heating, gas and electricity supply, supply with water, sewerage, as well as the manufacturing of the canopy for the ambulance is of 1.91 million lei (about 95.5 thousand euros). The financial means were allocated from the mandatory health insurances accounts and by the Health Ministry.

The emergency medical assistance team will serve the calls received from over 11,000 residents of the villages of Gura Bacului, Varnita and Calfa from Anenii Noi.
