As many as 1,773 young people benefit from cultural voucher provided by government in Moldova

Chisinau, 27 July /MOLDPRES/ - As many as 1,773 young people have benefited from cultural vouchers worth 1,000 lei starting from November 2022 so far.

According to the government’s communication and protocol department, over 1,000 lei was spent for the purchasing of cultural services. Most of the sum was invested in procuring books, while the other part was used to buy theatre, cinema and concert tickets.    

The young people can get a vouched based on the digital signature. They are eligible in the time interval starting the turning of 18 years and till they day when they turn 19 years. The goal pursued by the Cultural Voucher National Programme is to facilitate and improve young people’s integration into the country’s cultural life.  

Starting from 2024, the programme is to be extended to other social categories; it is about the elderly people.
