Chisinau, July 31. /MOLDPRES/- Government's decision on release of material goods from the state reserves and the allocation of financial means to liquidate the consequences of last week's bad weather was published in the Official Journal today.

The document provides for the granting of material aid of 16.3 million lei (815 thousand euros) for 74 localities in six districts of the country that were affected by the torrential rains and strong winds of July 25 -26.

The materials, released by the Materials Reserve Agency, will be distributed to the local public authorities in the districts of Edineț, Soroca, Râșcani, Dondușeni, Drochia and Hâncești, in order to carry out the repair and construction works of residential houses and administrative, cultural and social buildings.

Heavy rain and strong wind on July 25 and 26 caused damage in several localities in the north and center of the country. The most damage was recorded in Edineț, Soroca, Dondușeni, Râșcani, Drochia and Hâncești districts.
