Chisinau, July 31. /MOLDPRES/- MPs of the Communists and Socialists Bloc fction (BCS) left today's parliament session in protest.
They were dissatisfied that the state institutions did not come up with data on the damage recorded as a result of bad weather in the northern and central districts of the country.
"Traditionally, we came up with initiatives, but none of them were supported. What is the use of still having a state of emergency when, having natural calamities in the northern area, damage has been done to farmers and we cannot listen to the Government to understand what measures are being taken. We cannot achieve parliamentary control even when the fuel purchased with the citizens' money has been buried, we do not have access to new deputies in the plenary either. We will also boycott the last meeting of the spring-summer 2023 session, on the grounds that the faction's proposals are not taken into account by the parliamentary majority", BCS faction head Vlad Batrîncea said.
Deputies met today in the last meeting of the spring-summer session.
