European Village: 17 projects worth 33 million lei completed in July

Chisinau, Aug. 1 /MOLDPRES/- In July, 17 projects included in the European Village Program were completed. The government invested about 33 million lei (1.65 million euros) from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development to carry out them.

The projects brought changes for about 34 thousand citizens in the localities where the projects were implemented.

According to the National Regional and Local Development Office (ONDRL), among the successes recorded in July is the project with a value of 7.6 million lei in the village of Cobâlea, Șoldănești district. More than 12 km of aqueduct networks were built in the locality to provide the population with drinking water.

At the same time, among the projects that were completed during the past month are the rehabilitation of the kindergarten in the village of Morozeni, Orhei district, the construction of a sports field in the village of Doroțcaia, Dubăsari district, the reconstruction of the roof at the Gymnasium in the village of Limbenii Noi, Glodeni district, the construction of two drinking water tanks in the village of Floreni, Anenii Noi district, the renovation and equipment of the Sports Center in the village of Bumbăta, Ungheni.

The European Village program includes 496 projects, of which 153 have been completed.
