CSJ decided: Several candidates for membership in CSP and CSM to be re-evaluated

Chisinau, 2 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- 17 candidates for the position of member in the Superior Council of Prosecutors /CSP/ and the Superior Council of Magistrates /CSM/ will be re-evaluated. The civil, commercial and administrative litigation panel of the Supreme Court of Justice /CSJ/ decided to cancel the decisions of the independent Commission for evaluating the integrity of candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors and ordering the resumption of the evaluation procedures.
According to the decisions of the CSJ, Angela Popil, Vladislav Holban, Alexei Panis, Anatolie Gîrbu, Veronica Cupcea, Alexandru Rotari, Stanislav Sorbalo, Valentin Caisin, Ion Chirtoaca, Vitalie Codreanu, Vitalie Stratan, Angela Bostan, Aureliu Postica, Victor Sandu, Nicolae Sova, Aliona Miron, Cristina Gladcov, Tatiana Chiriac, Ecaterina Buzu will be reevaluated.
According to the CSJ, the decisions of the independent Commission for evaluating the integrity of candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors are annulled and the candidates are re-evaluated.
The decisions of the Supreme Court of Justice are irrevocable.
