Chisinau, 2 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- Prime Minister Dorin Recean came today with a reaction after the Supreme Court of Justice (CSJ) decision. The official said authorities would continue to push for legislation that would allow the justice system to self-cleanse.
"I want to tell these citizens, the corrupt minority of the judges, that you did not surprise us. You continue, perpetuate this effort and resist the effort of self-cleansing. I looked that there is a kind of copy-paste and an attempt was made to demonstrate an effort of defiance. You won't make it. We will continue to push for legislation to allow the system to self-clean. I also looked over the texts, some of them were written outside the Court. I want to warn those who participate in such an effort that this is the perpetuation of corruption. Those who participated in these actions will be brought to the law", he said.
The prime minister's reaction comes after yesterday the CSJ canceled several decisions of the independent Commission for evaluating the integrity of candidates for the position of member in the self-administration bodies of judges and prosecutors - the Superior Council of Magistracy and the Superior Council of the Prosecution.
