In August, gas price purchased from Gazprom to be 527 dollars per thousand cubic meters

Chisinau, 2 Aug. /MOLDPRES/- In August, the gas price purchased by Moldovagaz from Gazprom will be $527.68 per thousand cubic meters, compared to $550 in July. Moldovagaz director Vadim Ceban made the statement today.

"All the amount of gas procured in August from Gazprom will be directed to Tiraspoltransgaz", Ceban said.

In July, the gas price purchased from Gazprom was $550.60 per thousand cubic meters, in June - $568.15, in May - $660.76, in April - $673, in March – 1011 dollars, in February - 1054 dollars, and in January - 1230 dollars.

According to the contract signed in October 2021, the gas price purchased by Moldovagaz from Gazprom is calculated differently in winter and summer.

At the same time, Energocom announced today that it bought in June- July, about 300 million cubic meters of gas, which will be used both for current consumption and for storage. The average gas purchase price is 34.5 euros/MWh (about 400 dollars per thousand m3). Shipping and storage costs will be added to this price.
