Chisinau, Aug. 3 /MOLDPRES/- Farmers will have access to agricultural advisory services and the economic performance of agricultural businesses will be improved. This will be possible after the Agricultural and Rural Advisory Center is created in the Republic of Moldova. The decision was published in the Official Journal today.

The institution will be responsible for the implementation of policies in the agricultural and rural counseling. This will be created by reorganizing the public authority Methodical Center for Education.

The center will focus on farmers' needs and facilitate access to technical-economic, financial and managerial information. Farmers will also benefit from training and rural development programs and, for this purpose, individual consultants will be contracted.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, about 400 thousand dollars will be allocated for the establishment and operationalization of the Center, money obtained thanks to the loan agreement signed between the Republic of Moldova and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, for the implementation of the Agriculture, Governance, Growth and Resilience Investment project (AGGRI).
