Chisinau, August 10 /MOLDPRES/- From today, economic agents from the Transnistrian region will pay the tax for carrying out customs procedures.
Thus, upon customs clearance of goods placed under the import regime, 0.4% of their customs value will be paid, but not more than 1,800 euros. At the customs clearance of the goods placed for export, 0.1% of the contractual value of the goods will be paid, taking into account the expenses related to the transport to the border, but not more than 500 euros.
Until today, only economic agents from the Republic of Moldova that have fiscal relations with the budget system had the obligation to pay the tax for carrying out customs procedures, and through the amendment introduced in the legislation, namely the obligation to pay the respective tax by economic agents that do not have fiscal relations with the budget system, equal treatment of economic agents is ensured when importing and exporting goods and products.
Thus, from today, import-export operations carried out by economic agents located on the territory of the Republic of Moldova that do not have fiscal relations with the budget system are subject to the tax for carrying out customs procedures in the manner approved by the Government.
