Interactive map with information on road accidents launched by INSP, ASD

Chisinau, August 11 /MOLDPRES/ - The National Public Security Inspectorate (INSP) jointly with the State Road Administration /ASD/ and SRL Royal Map and UNDP Moldova launched today an interactive map with information about road accidents.

According to the Police, the map can be accessed at https://harta.asd.md/ and contains a search engine where the road sectors can be viewed according to the kilometer position and geographic coordinates. The data presented on the interactive map contribute to the planning of the necessary works, increasing transparency, as well as the analysis of the accident situation in road traffic.

The map aims to create geospatial monitoring by implementing and analyzing road sectors with increased risk of road accidents and facilitating communication with other institutions for the exchange of data between them regarding road infrastructure, as well as the further development of road networks.
