Chisinau, August 12 /MOLDPRES/- On a visit to Ungheni district, President Maia Sandu attended the greenhouses of the peasant household belonging to Vladislav Glodeanu. The farmer grows vegetables that are sold in two large chains of stores in the country, the presidential press service has reported.
"Through a lot of work and with the support of development partners, Vladislav managed to create a business he is proud of: with which he supports his family and where he offers work to the local people," said the head of state.
Through a program funded by the European Union, Vladislav Glodeanu installed a block-type greenhouse with a biomass heating system, which helps him grow more fruit cycles at lower costs. As part of another EU project, access roads to small businesses in the region were built. The farmer said that the modernized road is an important factor to develop his business.
"The year 2023 is about supporting business, especially small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. For this, several business support programs have been launched, work is being done to simplify bureaucratic procedures and digitize public services, and through this year's fiscal policy, about three billion lei will remain available to entrepreneurs for investments", Maia Sandu said.
