Moldovan president on visit to Sângerei

Chisinau, August 15 /MOLDPRES/- President Maia Sandu went today to the city of Sângerei and visited the construction site of the central road, which after many years of waiting will be thoroughly repaired, the presidential press service has reported.

"I spoke to the residents of the area who, by the end of this year, will enjoy a European quality road right next to their home. Better infrastructure contributes to economic growth and a better life for citizens," the president said.

Last year, a project of about 15 million lei was carried out in Sangerei, which was financed from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development. This year, another urban development project of around 20 million lei was selected for financing.

Today, the head of state also talked to entrepreneurs from the district about the problems they face, the business support programs and the opportunities that the European integration process opens up for the local business environment.
