Moldovan Commission for Emergency Situations rules to launch railway infrastructure project

Chisinau, 21 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Commission for Emergency Situations (CSE), chaired by Prime Minister Dorin Recean, at a today’s meeting, took a decision on the rehabilitation of a railway segment from south Moldova.
Thus, CSE ruled to allocate 60 million lei (three million euros) for the rehabilitation of the Cahul-Giurgiulesti, km 74, railway. ‘’The works of rehabilitation of the embankment of the railway, placed nearby the Valeni village, is authorized immediately, and the project documentation is to be given final touches during the carrying out of the works,’’ the Commission’s decision reads.
The Infrastructure and Regional Development Ministry will transfer the financial means to the Railway of Moldova state enterprise (CFM), in charge of the project.
