Moldova's president discusses Moldovan-Slovenian cooperation at Bled Strategic Forum

Chisinau, 29 August /MOLDPRES/ - President Maia Sandu has had a discussion with President of Slovenia Nataša Pirc Musar in Slovenia, the presidential press service has reported.  

In these weeks, Slovenia has been facing the consequences of floods which occurred in the beginning of August. The Moldovan head of state expressed solidarity with the Slovenian people, hit these unprecedented calamities.   

„The climate changes represent a common challenge and we discussed ways of joining efforts, in order to adapt to the climate changes and attenuate their effects,’’ Maia Sandu said.  

In discussions, the Moldovan president emphasized the good cooperation between both countries. ‘’I thanked President Pirc Musar for the openness with which Slovenia backs us advance on the European way and I invited her to visit Moldova in next autumn. We discussed about how we can deepen our bilateral relations, especially in the digital sector, cyber security, as well as the artificial intelligence,’’ President Maia Sandu said.
