Moldova's Public Services Agency says issuance of duplicates, extracts from civil status certificates possible by electronic means

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - The Public Services Agency (ASP) reminds that, starting from 1 January 2023, the requesting and the getting, on behalf of another person, of civil status documents has been possible also based on the empowerment of electronic representation.

The empowerment of electronic representation can be provided through the MPower governmental service and is based on the use of the electronic signature. ‘’The MPower governmental service provides a safe, flexible and convenient mechanism of management of the empowerments of representation by private people to act on behalf or at their expense, in order to get a public service from the public authority which provides services.’’ ASP said.

The empowerment of electronic representation is an alternative to the empowerment given through a proxy authenticated at notary.
