Gymnasium from north Moldova village undergoes energy optimization

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - The building of the Mircea Bologa Gymnasium from the Parcova village, northern Edinet district, has undergone energy rehabilitation with the support of the Agency for Energy Efficiency (AEE).

The project’s overall value is of over 1.3 million lei (65,000 euros), As much as 985,000 lei was provided by AEE and the rest is the beneficiary’s contribution. Works of thermal insulation of the institution’s outer walls and roof were carried out with this money.

During the project’s implementation, the local authorities and the institution’s administration benefited from technical assistance, which includes the carrying out of the energy audit report, elaboration of the spending sheet, expertise of the sheet’s documentation, technical expertise of the building and services of technical supervision.

More public institutions have benefited from energy efficiency works within projects carried out with AEE’s support so far.
