Better conditions for children at kindergarten from central Moldova district town

Chisinau, 30 August /MOLDPRES/ - The children from the Bucovat town, central Straseni district, will benefit from better conditions for early education. The kindergarten from this settlement, attended by over 40 children, was renovated within the European Village national programme, the parliament’s communication and public relations department has reported.
Thus, the roof was reconstructed, the institution’s yard was completely paved, the group rooms and the teaching room were endowed with new furniture. The overall budget of the works stood at about 5 million lei.
During a visit to the early education institution from Bucovat, Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu stressed the importance of investments in education and development of the education infrastructure, in order to ensure a better future to children. ‘’I am happy that you enjoy better conditions and that the local public authorities have chosen a project which regards namely children. Step by step, we will edify a European Moldova, investing in our villages and cities,’’ the parliament speaker said.
Twenty projects will be implemented in the Straseni district within the European Village Programme.
As many as 492 projects on development of settlements, worth more than two billion lei in all, have been selected within the European Village national programme. The money is allocated by the National Fund of Regional and Local Development. The European Village programme helps settlements implement projects which mayoralties cannot carry out from their own budgets.
