Moldovan authorities prepare more actions on occasion of Our Romanian Language National Holiday

Chisinau, 31 August /MOLDPRES/ - More cultural actions are held in Chisinau and other settlements of Moldova on the occasion of the 34th edition of the Our Romanian Language National Holiday.
The schedule of activities started with the laying of flowers at the monument to poet Mihai Eminescu on the square of the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre and on the Alley of Classics from the Stephen the Great Public Garden.
The Great National Dictation, organized by the Education and Research Ministry, was held on the Square of the Maria Biesu National Opera and Ballet Theatre at 9:30.
Subsequently, a schedule of reading for children titled, Books Get Life, will take place on the Eugen Doga pedestrian street at 16:00, followed by a contest of reciting poems, dedicated to primary school children.
A musical show titled, In Your Language, will take place at 19:00, where more well-known artists will perform. The festivity dedicated to the Our Romanian Language Holiday will culminate with a recital given by the Cristofor Aldea- Teodorovici Orchestra.
More topic-related exhibitions, literary clubs, literary and scientific meetings, with agenda concerning the place and role of the Romanian language, will be held today.
