European Village programme: 21 infrastructure projects carried out in Moldova in last august

Chisinau, 1 September /MOLDPRES/ - Another 21 infrastructure projects, included in the European Village Programme were finished in last August and brought benefits for about 22,000 citizens. The government invested about 66 million lei (3.3 million euros) from the National Fund for Regional and Local Development (FNDRL) for their implementation.
Among the projects implemented, there is the capital repair of the roof and the arrangement of the territory of a public institution in the Sturzovca village, northern Glodeni district; construction of the aqueduct system in the Barnova village, northern Ocnita district; renovation of the Community Centre in the Mateuti village, northern Rezina district; arrangement of a bicycle lane and a road for pedestrians in the Telita commune, central Anenii Noi district; reconstruction of the education institutions from Marzesti village, central Orhei district.
At the same time, in last August, the works on reconstruction of the roof of the kindergarten from the Marculesti village, northern Floresti district, were finished; the Theoretical Lyceum was modernized in the Slobozia Mare village; the roof of the building of the social and sports centre from the Dezghingea, Autonomous Territorial Unit of Gagauzia, was reconstructed; a multifunctional field of the kindergarten from the Parata village, eastern Dubasari district, was arranged.
According to the National Office of Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), the European Village Programme includes 497 projects, of which 173 have been finished.
