Moldovan parliament convenes at 2023 ordinary autumn session

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - The MPs today returned to work and a meeting of the standing bureau will take place on 6 September, during which the date of the next plenary meeting will be decided.

Starting from today, the lawmakers started the activity in commissions. On 5 September, a meeting of the juridical commission for appointments and immunities will be held. The interview of the candidates for the office of member of the Superior Council of Magistracy on behalf of the parliament is to be held at this meeting.

Under the parliament’s regulation, the parliament holds two ordinary sessions per year. The spring session begins in February and cannot exceed the end July. The autumn session starts in September and cannot exceed the end of December.
