Fourth issue of Moldova Support Platform to take place in Chisinau in next October

Chisinau, 4 September /MOLDPRES/ - The fourth issue of the Moldova Support Platform will take place in Chisinau in next October. The preparation of this event, as well as the bilateral Moldovan-Romanian relations today was discussed by Foreign Affairs and European Integration Minister Nicu Popescu with his Romanian counterpart Luminita Odobescu.

According to the Moldovan diplomacy head, during a phone conversation, both officials discussed essential subjects on the close relations between the two countries and Romania’s support in the process of Moldova’s accession to the European Union.    

„A focus of our conversation was the preparation of the fourth edition of the Moldova Support Platform, which will take place in Chisinau in next October. This initiative was developed by Romania, France and Germany and is focused on backing Moldova before the complex challenges we face. We also discussed the importance of the reformation of the justice system, in order to reduce the corruption and strengthen the rule of law state. This represents a vital mission for our future within the great European family,’’ Nicu Popescu noted.
