Moldova's resident representative under United Nations Office recalled from office

Chisinau, 5 September /MOLDPRES/ - The decree on the recalling of Tatiana Molcean from the office of Moldova’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, Moldova’s Resident Representative under the United Nations Office from Geneva and Moldova’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Principality of Liechtenstein has been published in the Official Journal (Monitorul Oficial) of Moldova.
The present decree entered into force on 1 September 2023.
Tatiana Molcean was recalled from the position of Moldova’s Resident Representative under the United Nations Office from Geneva, Moldova’s Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and, by plurality of offices, to the Principality of Liechtenstein, in connection with her switch to another job. On 26 July this year, the Foreign Affairs Ministry informed that Molcean had been appointed as Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission fort Europe of the United Nations Organization.
