Igor Trofimov resigns from office of state secretary at Moldovan Interior Ministry

Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - Igor Trofimov has been dismissed from the office of state secretary at the Interior Ministry (MAI). The cabinet took a decision to this end today.

Interior Minister Adrian Efros made a proposal to this effect at the government meeting. The minister noted that Igor Trofimov had submitted an application on resignation.

Igor Trofimov was appointed state secretary at MAI in March this year.

Earlier this week, Interior Minister Adrian Efros informed that one state secretary would be dismissed, in the wake of the incident which had occurred at the Chisinau International Airport in last June. At that time, a border policeman and a security agent were shot dead by a passenger.
