Chisinau, 6 September /MOLDPRES/ - A residual water-purifying station will be constructed in the Vasilcau commune, northern Soroca district. In this respect, following the examination of more settlements, the cabinet of ministers approved the change of a plot of land in the incorporated area of the Soroca city by a plot of land of the forestry fund placed in the unincorporated area of the Vasilcau village, he government’s communication and protocol department has reported.
The ground selected represents a rocky area and has a low reliability. For this reason, it was assessed as the only one acceptable from the viewpoint of the impact on the environment and the social one, in order to establish the location of the water-purifying station, the construction of which is part of the project, Security of supply with water and sanitation in Moldova.
„The project on construction of the water-purifying station is of major importance, including cross-border one, being always subject of joint discussions with representatives of central public authorities of Ukraine, including in the Moldova-Ukrainian Dnestrian Commission,’’ Environment Minister Iordanca-Rodica Iordanov said.
