Chisinau, 7 April /MOLDPRES/ - The people who drive vehicles in state of ebriety which exceeds the highest level established by law run the risk of remaining without cars.

According to the General Police Inspectorate (IGP), people who deliberately entrust the driving of the vehicles to a person who is deprived of this right, as well as those who drive deprived of the right to drive might remain without automobiles.

IGP said that an instruction had been approved on the way of enforcement of the Article 439/7 of the Contravention Code on the special confiscation of vehicles within the contravention suit. Thus, the special confiscation is enforced by court, upon the approach by the official examiner of the police. The latter only finds out the deed and afterwards, he/she is to ask the court to enforce the security measure – the special confiscation of the vehicle.

In the context, law-enforcers recommend that drivers observe the Road Traffic Regulation, in order not to become subjects of the special confiscation.
