European Village: Three public institutions in Cotovskoe village energy optimized

Chisinau, 11 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The town hall, gymnasium and kindergarten in the village of Cotovskoe, Găgăuzia were energy optimized. The works were carried out as part of the European Village Program and cost 2.4 million lei (120 thousand euros).

As a result of the project, photovoltaic systems were installed at each of the three institutions, thus contributing to the protection of the environment and the reduction of energy consumption.

According to the National Office for Regional and Local Development (ONDRL), eight energy efficiency projects were approved through the European Village Program. The project in Cotovskoe is the third, successfully completed.

At the same time, another 24 projects to install energy production and supply systems using renewable resources will be implemented through the Express European Village program by the end of the current year.
