Student of Moldovan State University winner of contest of essays titled, Why Moldova must be EU member?

Chisinau, 11 September /MOLDPRES/ - A student of the Law Faculty of the Moldovan State University (USM), Marina Bors, is the winner of the contest of essays titled, Why Moldova must be member of the European Union?, organized by the Education and Research Ministry (MEC).
The essay of Marina was proposed to be written by those over 450 participants in the Great National Dictation.
„In the heart of the Eastern Europe, in regions blessed by son and nourished by the flowing waters of Dniester, a small country and full of history has always been looking for light and hope. This country is the Republic of Moldova, a corner of the world which embraces the tradition, but dreams of a brighter future with open eyes,’’ the young woman wrote.
The best essay was awarded a vouched worth 10,000 lei (500 euros) on behalf of a network of shops and another voucher of 3,000 on behalf of a network of bookshops.
The contest of essays was launched in last mid-August. The essay declared winner was proposed to the participants in the Great National Dictation, organized in the Moldovan capital on 31 August, on the occasion of marking the Romanian Language Day.
