Moldovan capital's residents urged not to deposit vegetable waste in containers on stocking platforms

Chisinau, 15 September /MOLDPRES/ - The managers of the dwellings fund, as well as the Moldovan capital’s residents are urged not to deposit the vegetable waste in containers on the stocking platforms.

According to the Chisinau city hall, the depositing of branches, leaves and remains of plants in the containers meant for the recyclable waste on the stocking platforms is strictly banned.

The municipal enterprise, Autosalubritate (Self-sanitation) Administration said the vegetable waste must be put in bags or sacks and deposited nearby the platforms for stocking waste, not in dumping carts. Subsequently, they will be evacuated by employees of the Dwellings Services enterprise and recycled or obliterated, turning them into a resource for Chisinau’s green areas.

The authorities made the urge, in the context of the autumn sanitation campaign, which is traditionally carried out starting from September till the end of November.
