Border Police received batch of drones

Chisinau, 20 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- The subdivisions of the General Inspectorate of Border Police (IGPF) have received a batch of aircraft without a pilot on board, worth a total of over 7 million lei (350 thousand euros).
Minister of Internal Affairs Adrian Efros said that the drones have the mission of helping the collaborators of the Border Police to carry out their missions at the highest level, to increase the capacity of intervention and to provide safety to the common citizen.
"To date, all the drones received have been purchased under assistance projects. This year, with the support of the Government and the Ministry of the Interior, we managed to take another step towards strengthening the capacity of the tactical and regional units by allocating over 7 million lei for the purchase of a batch of unmanned aerial vehicles, which today they are going to the border", said the head of the Border Police, Rosian Vasiloi.
