Moldovan PM to pay working visit to Germany

Chisinau, 26 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- On September 27 - 29, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will pay a working visit to Berlin. He will participate as a guest in German-Romanian Forum, together with his Romanian counterpart, Marcel Ciolacu and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the government's communication and protocol department has reported.
The official will have meetings with Svenja Schulze, Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, Michael Roth, Chairman of the Bundestag Foreign Policy Committee, Jens Plötner, Foreign and Security Policy Advisor to the Chancellor, as well as a group of MPs and business people from Germany.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Dumitru Alaiba and Minister of Energy Victor Parlicov will go to Germany together with Recean.
Government spokesperson Daniel Vodă said during the weekly briefing that the officials from Chisinau will address the investment opportunities of our country to attract German businessmen, measures to strengthen energy security, and the promotion of Moldovan products on the EU market.
Daniel Vodă added that the process of joining the European Union will also be included in the discussions, Germany's support being particularly important in this process.
