Moldovan farmers to benefit from AgriMBA program

Chisinau, 27 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Agribusiness Management (AgriMBA) program was launched in Moldova. The study disciplines will be supported by professors from European Union Universities, the Technical University of Moldova (UTM) and expert practitioners from successful companies in our country.
“The AgriMBA program is meant to bring about significant change in the agricultural sector. Agriculture needs managers to effectively manage business in this field. The program is an important step in supporting and developing the sector, in training future leaders", Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Vladimir Bolea said.
31 master's students have enrolled at AgriMBA, who will interact with local and foreign mentors, representatives of the business environment, so that they have access to the best practices and tools to improve and develop their businesses.
The studies will last 2 years and will be held online, as well as in person. Teaching will be in English, and upon completion of the program, graduates will also obtain an MBA degree, issued by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
The program is financed by Optim and Erasmus project and implemented by UTM in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry.
