Moldova - winner of Global Culinary Travel Awards

Chisinau, 28 Sep. /MOLDPRES/- Several guesthouses and hotels of Moldova have been nominated winners of an international contest - Global Culinary Travel Awards, launched by the World Food Travel Association.

This year's winners include Eco Resort Butuceni guesthouse for the best agricultural or rural experience for culinary travel, as well as BERD'S Chisinau MGallery Hotel Collection, award winner for best beverage experience for culinary travel.

"We are honored to be recognized at such a prestigious international competition. We are committed to continuing to offer high-quality services and to develop our tourism offers to provide sustainable and memorable experiences to our guests", Eco Resort Butuceni manager Olesea Cojocaru said.

AgroPensiunea Casa din Luncă was included in the list of winners for the best
agricultural or rural experience for culinary travel, and Curtea de Piatră guesthouse - for the best beverage experience for culinary travel.

Executive director of the National Inbound and Domestic Tourism Association of Moldova (ANTRIM) Elena Stepanov said that Moldova is always promoted as a special food and wine destination, with millennial histories and traditions.

Starting this March, several guesthouses, hotels and wineries of Moldova have registered at the international competition Global Culinary Travel Awards launched by the World Food Travel Association.
