Moldovan MP submits application on resignation

Chisinau, 4 October /MOLDPRES/ - An MP of the faction of the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), Ana Calinici, submitted an application on resignation today.

The draft decision, through which lawmakers take note of the application on resignation submitted by Calinici, was discussed at a today’s meeting of the parliament’s juridical commission for appointments and immunities.

Ana Calinici submitted her application on resignation, after she had been appointed as state secretary at the State Chancellery.

The draft decision also sees that one lawmaker mandate, which belongs to the Action and Solidarity Party, will be declared vacant. Under the law on the status of MP in parliament, the vacant mandate will be assigned to the immediately next alternate member on the list of the electoral contender.
