Moldova's Ambassador to Japan won grand prize at photo exhibition

Chisinau, Oct. 6 /MOLDPRES/- Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova to Japan Dumitru Socolan won the grand prize at a photo exhibition, held under the patronage of Princess Takamado, a member of the Japanese imperial family.
For his photo, Ambassador Socolan won the Prince Takamado Memorial Prize, dedicated to the one who was the husband of Princess Hisako Takamado, involved in numerous charity activities both in Japan, as well as abroad.
According to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Tokyo, the exhibition offers foreign diplomats operating in Japan the chance to share their personal perspectives about the host country.
The opening of the exhibition was attended by Japanese officials such as Princess Takamado, Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa, as well as foreign ambassadors and diplomats.
The photos will be exhibited in several cities in Japan.
