Chisinau, 13 October /MOLDPRES/ - The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) records, in continuation, a decrease in the Platts quotations both for petrol and diesel – a tendency which is transposed also in terms of prices for fuels posted at the fuel supply stations. On the last period, the Platts quotations have dropped, reaching 800 dollars/ton for petrol and about 900 dollars/ton for diesel; this allowed an essential cut in the pump price for both types of fuels.
The cumulated cheapening of the fuels, against the maximal values from last September, is of 2.87 lei/litre for COR 95 petrol and of 1.11 lei/litre for standards diesel, which is a diminution by 10.65 per cent and, respectively, 4.47 per cent, - a process which continues on the next period too.
For the next three days, 14-16 October, ANRE established maximal retail selling prices for the principal standard-type oil products at: 24.06 lei/litre – for COR 95 petrol (-0.22 lei); 23.71 lei/litre – for standards diesel (-0.18 lei).
ANRE continues to keep a close eye on the developments at the international oil exchanges and assures the consumers of the correctness of the daily calculation of prices established for purchasing fuels.
