Moldagrotech, Farmer exhibitions inaugurated at Moldexpo exhibition centre

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The international specialized exhibition of machines, equipment and technologies for the agro-industrial complex, Moldagrotech, and the international specialized exhibition of agricultural products, equipment and technologies, Farmer, were inaugurated at the Chisinau-based Moldexpo Centre today. The exhibitions bring together over 200 participants from five countries including Moldova, Austria, Italia, Romania and Ukraine.     

Among the exhibitors, there are producers and dealers of technology, instruments, inventory and equipment for the agro-industrial complex and for gardening, farmers and peasant’s farms from Moldova, as well as research institutions, experts and representatives of state structures, insurance companies, commercial banks, financial organizations, international projects for developing agriculture. Combines, tractors, machines and equipment for mechanizing the agriculture, new models of agricultural machines from the biggest producers of the world will be showed at the event.    

Attending the inauguration of the event, Deputy Prime Minister, Agriculture and Food Industry Minister Vladimir Bolea said the exhibitions represented the place where modern technologies of agriculture meet. „This is a real possibility to see what is new in terms of technologies, products and technological processes in agriculture. For this reason, the exhibitions and the participation them are vital for the future of the agriculture from Moldova. Besides, the residents and guests of the capital can visit the Golden Autumn Fair, at which products of farmers from Moldova are displayed. You have possibility to really meet sellers, who are also agricultural producers and buy the most qualitative products,’’ Vladimir Bolea said.      

The Moldexpo director general, Carolina Chiper, said that the agro-industrial week at Moldexpo reiterated its role of efficient instrument for developing businesses, renovating the park of agricultural machines, consolidate the farmer’s households. According to the official, visitors have possibility to find in a single place modern technologies and equipment, agricultural products, planting material and can put direct questions to representatives of the Agriculture Ministry, learning, at the same time, more information on ways of accessing financial resources for developing the agriculture.       

A comprehensive programme of business will be organized at the exhibitions and the Agriculture and Food Industry Ministry will hold meetings and discussions with the heads of the district agricultural departments and other representatives who work in the agrarian sector.  

Concomitantly with the Moldagrotech and Farmer exhibitions, Moldexpo in the next week-end will host the Golden Autumn fair, during which visitors can purchase vegetables, fruits, honey and apicultural products directly from producers. An important segment represents the planting material: small trees, flowers, seeds, bulbs.   

The exhibitions will be opened till 22 October.
