Exhibition by Italian sculptor inaugurated at Chisinau-based museum

Chisinau, 19 October /MOLDPRES/ - The Embassy of Italy in Moldova, in cooperation with the Italia-Moldova Association, in partnership with the National Ethnography and Natural History Museum, today organized an exhibition of tactile sculptures by master Cosimo Damiano Latorre, titled, The Cross Road, on the occasion Italian language week in Moldova.

In the beginning of the event, the director of the aforementioned museum, Petru Vicol, said the exhibition, represented by 15 works, reconstituted both the Passions of Jesus and the moment of the Resurrection.

Attending the event, Ambassador of Italy to Moldova Lorenzo Tomassoni said this exhibition came with a deep religious message and, at the same time, with a message of peace. At the same time, the diplomat offered thanks to the president of the Italia-Moldova Association, Gian Luca del Marco, due to whom this exhibition had reached Chisinau.

The exhibition will be opened till 30 October.
