Moldovan soldiers attend Combined Resolve XIX exercise in Germany

Chisinau, Oct. 20 /MOLDPRES/- National Army soldiers participate in the Combined Resolve XIX exercise in Germany on 13 October-4 November.
About 4,200 servicemen from Italy, Greece, Georgia, Romania, Spain, Lithuania, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and the United States of America are being trained.
According to the commander of the contingent, Captain Ion Sîrbu, the Moldovan servicemen are conducting jointly with colleagues from the partner armies missions of planning, guarding, patrolling, research, support and medical evacuation. The purpose of the exercise is the joint training of the military for international operations and increasing the level of interoperability of the National Army soldiers with those of the partner countries.
National Army deployed officers, sergeants and soldiers from the Moldova Motorized Infantry Brigade to Combined Resolve XIX.
The National Army has been participating in Combined Resolve since 2012.
